Havering Claim - backdated to the 12th

Havering was at the back of the East End Packs territories in London; which seemed to be - by general consensus - a Bad Thing. Emboldened by their ability to vote, the wolves of the East End pack rally behind their Alpha (or would-be Alpha depending on who you asked) and his choice to take the territory. Some decide that acting on this is in the interest of their safety, some are simply hungry for more, some want to see the Fae out of London - whatever their reason, people are rallying.

The affair is not without bloodshed however, but the fighting is not horrifying. The Fae knew this was coming and had prepared to struggle against it - but what they could not know was that the wolves brought numbers in the form of allies.

Daybreak witches mainly accompanied groups of wolves to help clear out areas and keep the fae from individually doing too much damage. Among the Daybreak witches, there is a small number of Midnight witches - spearheaded by Abigail Widdowson herself. Apparently there was some sort of agreement between Memon and herself.

Eventually, the Havering territory - after a day of little fighting and more than enough protests - falls to the wolves.

Alex can't deny that. This was the fae's territory until James decided he wants it for whatever reason. But it doesn't change anything - either this guy goes, or she has to try to make him go.

"It's my job to make you leave."

That makes him scoff. He gestures at her with his trident, just to remind her he has a longer reach than she does in case the claws start flying.

"Well, it's my job to stop that from happening," he says.

"You can't win this. We've got the numbers to make sure you're all gone by morning. You might as well go."

She knows some fae have been fighting back. It might not be as easy as all that. But she stares him down stubbornly, not acknowledging the threat of his trident.

"Don't you know who you're talking to?"

It's a rhetorical question. He doubts many people outside the fae would actually recognize a minor lord like himself, but it gets the effect across rather well. The point is, he's important. "I will stay until I see the last of the fae out safely. Don't forget it's you who drew me out of the shadows and not the other way around; you could have kept walking."

Alex takes that to mean that he's someone famous and important, and that she should know who he is. But she doesn't, and that irritates her.

"And let you attack me from behind?" She glares at him. "Look, if you're just... if you're just making sure your people get out okay, or whatever, I won't fight you." She tries to sound magnanimous - while she knows she's not really doing him a favor, she wants to keep up an air of being on the obviously superior side - but it comes out sounding more like a challenge.

He rolls his eyes as if the thought of her fighting him is a minor annoyance. "I won't attack you tonight," he says, "and now I've said it so you know you're safe from me. Now move along and go back to your alpha so you can throw a party for your successful, pointless little land-grab."
