Havering Claim - backdated to the 12th

Havering was at the back of the East End Packs territories in London; which seemed to be - by general consensus - a Bad Thing. Emboldened by their ability to vote, the wolves of the East End pack rally behind their Alpha (or would-be Alpha depending on who you asked) and his choice to take the territory. Some decide that acting on this is in the interest of their safety, some are simply hungry for more, some want to see the Fae out of London - whatever their reason, people are rallying.

The affair is not without bloodshed however, but the fighting is not horrifying. The Fae knew this was coming and had prepared to struggle against it - but what they could not know was that the wolves brought numbers in the form of allies.

Daybreak witches mainly accompanied groups of wolves to help clear out areas and keep the fae from individually doing too much damage. Among the Daybreak witches, there is a small number of Midnight witches - spearheaded by Abigail Widdowson herself. Apparently there was some sort of agreement between Memon and herself.

Eventually, the Havering territory - after a day of little fighting and more than enough protests - falls to the wolves.

Abigail had made it clear among the witches of Circle Midnight that this was entirely voluntary. None of them had to be here, and she certainly wouldn't punish any who declined. Nor would there be any overt reward for those who helped. It was a matter to the conscience, nothing more.

Still, Abigail is among the wolves' forces, though she goes for diplomacy where she can. After all, the fae aren't enemies she wants, but she has a deal with the leader of the East End.

"Thank you, ma'am," she offers, slightly shooing an older woman with bags. Of course, she's taken a couple up to help the woman out to the car, and she puts them both in the boot carefully. "I know this is inconvenient--"

"Oh, you're too young to understand what's inconvenient. This is the sort of thing one expects. It keeps things interesting, dear."

Finnick stalks the back streets with his trident. Sometimes he's accompanied by a group of Seelie fae who are ready to fight, but otherwise he's on his own, his magic having grown stronger, strong enough to put down a wolf if they're one on one. In the beginning he seems calm and collected; it's a standard fight and they had warning, so any vulnerable fae have been encouraged to leave the area.

His tone shifts significantly when he realizes there are witches among them. He still fights smart, but his anger is unmistakable. He knows he should have seen this coming - James said as much in their meeting - but it just stings to know the witches want them gone this much. That they'll send dogs to push them out. He spends more time alone after that, directing Seelie fae to where they'll be most useful and waiting in the shadows to strike whatever witch or wolf comes to cross him.

The fight itself is of little concern to Eames — they'd prepared for this, known it was coming. A shame they can't handle silver to put the dogs down more efficiently, but what can you do?

The witches change the battlefield, but that too isn't a surprise. Not with James' boasts of having their support, and Eames moves through Havering with a pair of Unseelie in tow, (an ogre and a siren, glamourless, for the curious,) dispatching anyone not on their side quickly and efficiently.

He's really not in the mood for all of this.

It's when he notes a witch using more... Curious magic that his methods change, and Eames focuses up on getting information. Cornering witches to find out who sent them, what coven they're part of. He takes their names and their information and promises to let them leave alive if they too swear to leave Havering without hurting a single other Fae, and he's always made good on his promises. It's just such a shame when someone reneges on their word.
