[Open] Well done, daughter, oh bravely done (Daytime, Oct 1)
From all that Liadan has heard, there has been plenty of upheaval within London's supernatural community. It's almost enough for her to wonder if this was the best place for her and Johnny to come, but what is done is done. Besides, Bran will be able to see them easier here than even back in Sevenwaters.
At least she already knows where Hillingdon House is, after Faolan showed it to her before. She headed up to the doorstep, Johnny beside her. "This is where Daddy's friends work," she told him. "Hopefully one of them will be able to help us decide where we should live." She had booked their hotel room for a week, hoping that would be enough time to find a suitable apartment.
She knocked on the door firmly three times, then waited. Hopefully, someone was here today.

At the mention of the Painted Men, her brow furrows. "Oh- no. Uhm, I haven't- who are they, again?"

So that was a no for knowing about the Painted Men already. She was very interested in seeing just how far their reputation had travelled. "The Painted Men are the group of hunters that my husband put together and leads. They travel around as needed, since the more isolated regions don't have local groups like Hillingdon."

"Oh, that's ah, really cool." She probably would have learned about them soon enough, had District 4 not come under attack. "Was- ah, was Faolan part of them?" She didn't know much about his life, though she was sure he knew about hers.

She shook her head. "No. I actually am not quite sure when or how he and Bran - my husband - met each other. I assume it would have been at some point when the group was in London but I could be wrong." That was her business and something she would have to ask Faolan when she saw him next.

"I see. That, ah, makes a lot of sense. Cool." Was it cool? Oh god, she winced at herself. "Sorry. I'm, ah- I'm not really that good with, uhm, conversations."
no subject
"Do you live nearby?" she asked after a moment. "I'm apartment hunting and trying to figure where the good neighbourhoods are."

"The neighborhood around here is nice. Uhm- there are bedrooms- if you need a place to stay in the meanwhile... Here, I mean."

Even if she suspected it would be some time before it felt like home.

"What, ah, brings you two to London?"

"I hope he visits a lot."

Liadan sighs. She had known this would be the case when they got married but sometimes it was still hard for her. But if she wanted a conventional marriage, she should have married a conventional man. And then she thinks of Eamon and shudders slightly. "I am also hoping that my brother and his family will come visit often, since it was hard to leave them all behind. Sean and I are twins, so we've always been together."

"My gran comes in, occasionally." The only family she had left.

"I would love to meet her someday. Has she lived in London long?"

Annie's phone goes off, and she looks down at it, frowning intently. "Sorry- she's- I promised we'd go to Sainsbury's. I should go- but Faolan'll be back soon. And if he isn't, here-" Annie stands and moves to the desk in the corner. There, she takes a piece of paper and a pen, and hastily scrawls her number in a small, feminine hand. "-call and I can come back."

with that, she takes her leave.
