That's a lot of candles (OTA, Backdated to March 14)
Another year had crept up on the vampire. He wasn't particularly fond of his birthday anymore. It was just another reminder of staying the same and the rest of the world getting older without him. Kind of a depressing thought if he dwelt upon it too much. But at the same time, all things would happen as they were warrant to. The Buddhists had perfected the idea of living in the now and he tried to follow the same philosophy. So he decided to spoil himself a little bit and take the day off from helping to run the affairs of both the Nest and the Night Council both.
He started off by getting a cupcake from a smaller, lesser-known shop and taking a walk down to a local park to eat it. He spun the daylight ring around his finger, wondering about how different his life had been a year ago. He'd had no girlfriend, no real position of power in the Nest, and had not been content with his lot in life at all. Now, he had almost all he could wish from life. He was determined to enjoy it for as long as possible. Life was always warrant to change on a dime.
He spent most of the day wandering through London, visiting his favorite places. London's as much his home as anywhere else in the world is. His mood was bit subdued, but ranged more towards thoughtful than melancholy. Eventually, as the day dimmed and turned to night, he returned to his home.

He hopes she's not too terribly attached to that outfit because he's going to be doing his utter best to tear it to shreds with his teeth. Easy enough with regular teeth, but a lot more fun when one had sharp vampire canines.

Nancy pulls away from his neck, shifting herself in his lap. "Whatever you like, Master." She takes his hand. "Where do you want to take your dinner?" There were so many places. "The dining room table?" They had so many pieces of furniture they still needed to break in.

His fangs come out once again, and this time, he goes to work on ripping her out of her costume. He's definitely not disappointed by the lingerie she's wearing underneath. It's fancy, the kind she might have once worn for only the most exclusive of clientele, but now was a treat for Cooper alone. God, he loves this girl so much.

Nancy shivers under Cooper as his teeth destroy the costume, revealing the lacy red lingerie beneath. It had been a gift from a client, true enough, and now it was for Cooper's eyes only.
When the costume is gone, she reaches up to touch his cheek. "Dinner," she says with a gleam in her eye, "is served."
