Spycat
It's been decades since Mogget has wandered around London this freely. It's almost like discovering the city all over again. At first he sticks to exploring mainly at night, keeping his nose to the ground and sniffing out magical activity. During the day he switches to crow form for a bird's eye view of the city, updating the mental map in his head. He has a specific mission, however, and so in the latter half of the month he begins to target certain locations:
Bromley and Bexley
Despite being in enemy territory, Mogget trots through the suburbs as if he has every right to be here. The fae presence is strong and every once in a while he senses a door to the Other Realm and raises his hackles, approaching with caution. While he may sniff around the edges of a door, he will never go through; that is forbidden to him.
But he's not here looking for doors. He's here to scope out the area and identify the resident fae. Maybe even talk to some of them, if they will talk to him.
Hillingdon House (17th-19th February)
Mogget hangs around the house for an entire weekend, watching who comes and goes. He's here to talk to the hunters, although you might not believe it if you find him in the kitchen, but anyone who seems like a promising prospect will hear a voice at their feet:
"Looking for work?"
Abbott Mill, The East End Den (around end February)
Mogget hates dogs. He doesn't want to be here, his small white cat face wrinkled in disgust at the stench of werewolf that permeates this place, but he's under orders and so he must pad with great caution into the den.
He's here to deliver a message to the alpha, Katherine Moore. Hopefully that won't take long and then he can just sneak his way back out without being noticed...

He was perched on the kitchen table when the squirrel darted up to hide behind him, Mogget glancing around to sniff at her. Too young to be of any use for the task at hand. He decided to ignore her.
Turning back to Daryl, Mogget looked quite unfazed by the whole thing. "Isn't it obvious?" he drawled. "I'm looking for a hunter. I don't suppose you know any."
no subject
He waved his hand, shooing the cat toward the door without getting anywhere near him, "This ain't public domain. You wanna find a hunter, you got back to the entrance and ask there. Plenty of places to put up a flyer, too, if that don't work for you."
After a moment of rocking back on his heels and trying to figure out how to get Willow back safely without startling her or causing the no-cat to attack her, he went on with eyes narrowed, "Waddaya need a hunter for?"
no subject
"A job," Mogget answered. "Reconnaissance in enemy territory. Interested?"
no subject
He reached out slowly to start petting Willow. Not going for the grab just yet since she had her paws dug into the white fur. "What're you trying to get done?"
no subject
"Learn more about the fae occupying Bromley and Bexley." He crossed one front paw over the other. "Are you a hunter?"
There was no point in telling him about the job if he didn't do that kind of work. And Daryl hadn't confirmed it.

"I'm a tracker," he corrected and answered at the same time. His cover was blown enough already with the not-cat. His accent wasn't really common so he figured Mogget recognized him. Not that it mattered much now. Mogget hadn't known who he was at the party and that was the point. Here and now, in his territory? The not-cat was the one that had to be more cautious. At least, once Daryl got Willow off his back.

"And would you be interested in taking the job?" he asked, looking up to make sure he had Daryl's attention. Squirrel girl was a distraction.

Willow continued to relax under Daryl's hand and so did her grip. Thought he didn't scoop her up right away. She was showing him trust, so he was going to give her reason to trust him.

It was fairly standard stuff, in Mogget's opinion. Scoping out the enemy. General intelligence gathering. Nothing out of the ordinary.
