Cooper, despite having a drink in his hand and a ready smile on his face, has been taking careful note of who has been coming in and out of the train car. When the man who looks like he's in desperate need of a haircut shows up and takes a seat without talking to anyone, Cooper notices.

Eventually, the car's occupants thin out a little, and Cooper has a moment to himself. Time to find out about the fellow who's sitting there. He sidles over to where Daryl is on the couch. He remains standing as he asks, "Don't suppose I could get you something t'drink?"
