Jean-Claude appreciates the other man's moment of pause to take in his office. If you like this, you should see his bedroom, he thinks, but doesn't say aloud. Merely smiling to him as he folds himself into one end of the couch, and with the white of his shirt and the black of his pants, he rather looks like he was meant to be there. As part of the aesthetic of the room itself.
"Good, good," he responds, with a smile. Before leaning forward and getting straight to business. "I wanted you to know that we are going to be making a move on Southwark," he begins.

Eames nods and takes a sip of his drink, indicating he's heard but little else, wondering why Jean-Claude even bothered to tell him in the first place. Not that he doesn't appreciate the information, but Southwark is of little consequence to him.
"And...?" He prompts, because there's no way that could be all.

"Southwark is to be the final move," he says. "It will tell me who is with me in the end, and who is not. And once it is made..." He glances back at Eames once more. "Once it is made, we will turn our attentions to Harris. There are rumors that he is to throw a Samhain celebration, though no formal announcement has yet been made. I had hoped, if results from this territory move are favorable, that it might give me an invitation to such an event..." He watches the other man closely, to see whether he is following him, and how closely.

"And... Get a private audience, maybe?" It's a good start, a really good start, but Eames still has concerns. "Be a little suspicious if he went missing right afterward though, wouldn't it?"

"I rather thought it would be better to lay things open in front of all there gathered," Jean-Claude replies. "Perhaps literally, for that matter. It depends on what sort of opportunity he presents me with. I have... An idea, however. But it would require your own participation." Or that of one of his people, but considering what he has heard of the feud between the fae man and the Duke, he thinks it best that it be the Lord of Autumn himself.
