[Redbright has a new IT tech, and at the moment he's pretty enthusiastic about his new role. Anything has got to be more interesting than his last role, especially this. He's ready and willing to help out with any technological problem someone might have, right down to the most basic (though he'd certainly appreciate anything more challenging).

He has a phone line too if someone would rather reach him that way.]

[If Oliver thought that this new position wasn't going to be a challenge, then he hadn't met the likes of a certain Professor Thomas Nightingale yet. Who happens to come knocking on his door this fateful August afternoon. Or the doorframe, if the door happens to be open. Perhaps they've met before. Perhaps they haven't. Either way, Oliver is in for a rare treat in attempting to help Nightingale. Which is to say that the man is technically (though he only looks in his lower fourties at best) old enough to be Oliver's great-grandfather. Perhaps even one more generation removed than that. To say that Nightingale and technology do not mix would be putting it mildly.]

[Oliver looks up from his screen as he enters, sitting up a little straighter.]

Hey. Can I help you?

no problem, i've been swamped at work lately so i'm sorry i'm slow myself ;3;

[Nightingale attempts to compose himself in a manner of someone who knows what the hell he is talking about, but he really doesn't have the faintest idea.]

I have, ehm. There is an issue. And I could use some, ah. Expertise...

[Prepare yourself, a five-year-old could probably have resolved this issue. But Nightingale is not a five-year-old. He's more pushing one-hundred and five at this point...]

[Oliver's no stranger to having to resolve basic computer problems, even ones he thinks are painfully simple, but he's excited for his new role. He's looking forward for the chance to prove himself to someone probably far more interesting than he is.

Even so, he's not quite skilled enough he can resolve Nightingale's problem without knowing what it is first.]

Okay. What exactly is it?

Ah. Well, you see, there's a... [Nightingale trails off, making a vague gesture that may as well mean anything before dropping his hands to his side as he realizes he's helping nothing and decides to instead continue to say:]

To be quite honest, it might be rather better if I show you.

[He can't even begin to guess what his issue might be, so instead he nods, waiting to find out.]
