oh no, it's another catch-all for Shea's characters!

"I only have eyes for you, I promise," she says seriously. "last I checked he had a girlfriend, anyway." and she had standards about not cheating. Unless it was work then all money was green.
She moves in close to him. "I know you'll be on your best behavior." She gave him a quick kiss, leaving lipstick on his cheek.

He tries to take comfort in Nancy's words. She's never lied to him intentionally, and if she says she's faithful, than he'll take her word for it. It's this mysterious Kyle that Cooper has is concerns over. Nancy was a beautiful girl and lord only knows what someone might think of living with her, seeing her in the morning in her pajamas or when she's just stepped out of the shower in nothing but a towel...well, at least now his train of thought had gone somewhere else.
He rubs out the spot on his cheek and picks his wine back up. "You be careful out there right now. It won't matter where you're staying if the wrong vamp gets a hold of you." He now has a personal stake in Harris' ridiculous edict that the vampires could feed off of whoever they wanted. Nancy's job has always been a risky one, but now it's doubly so.

But she knows how dangerous it is. If it hadn't been for Natasha, Kenzi would have likely drained her completely. "I can just use your name, no one wants to mess with the girl of an Earl, do they?" she hoped. She had always been a target, it seemed.

"This is true. There's a few advantages t'being high up in the nest." If he had to throw his weight around to make sure Nancy stayed safe, then he would do so gladly. Lord only knew he didn't use his position often enough as it was.
no subject
"Next thing I know, you'll be running the whole show." Please don't. she's already friends with too many people too high up in too many factions.
...wait.

"Perish the thought, sweetpea. I'm content t'be the guy standin' behind the main guy. Same type of power, less of the spotlight." He's quite candid about anyone who asks what his plans being in the nest are. People tend to let their guard down around someone they feel is less of a threat.

"Good," she says, with a sigh before dramatically plopping back on the blanket. "I'm so bloody tired of politics." She was the one that had to go and get herself involved at every angle, but all of it had been on accident. Honest.
no subject
"Then you're livin' in the wrong city," Cooper replies cheerfully. London seems to be made up of nothing but politics sometimes. He will admit that it does grow dreadfully weary sometimes, trying to keep track of who had an alliance with whom and who were the real ones in power.
He pulls two sandwiches out of the picnic basket, offering one to Nancy. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been on a daytime picnic, with the bright sun on his face and a beautiful person by his side. One had to enjoy the little moments in life, otherwise there was nothing worth living for. "Maybe I can take you for a ride after we're done eating." That wasn't entirely a double entendre. He's been wanting to get Nancy on the back of one of his motorcycles for a while now. That way he could combine two of his biggest passions together.

Sitting up a little, she takes the sandwich from him. They're so classy, with their wine and sandwiches. Just looking at him, she smiles and blushes, because this was Cooper and they were together.
"I don't see why not." It seemed appropriate, Cooper taking her for a ride around the city on the back of his motorcycle. He'd nearly killed her with it the first time they met, so maybe she owed the whole thing to that damn bike. "Show me your favorite spots."

He takes a bite of his sandwich. He wonders if Nancy knows how to cook. Not that he needs to eat a whole lot, strictly speaking, but he does occasionally enjoy breaking up the monotony of drinking just blood with something a little more solid. Nancy is enough for him, though. He thinks he'll never get tired of drinking her blood.
"I promise not to run over anythin' this time." He, too, remembers their first meeting. Cooper is a maniac on the road. He's never had to deal with the caution that came from knowing he might die if he got into a car accident, so his driving skills could charitably be described as crazy at the best of times. He'll take all necessary precautions with Nancy at his back.

She smiles at the memory. "Good- I don't exactly want to donate my organs today. Just my blood is more than enough." She gave him a cheeky wink.
no subject
"No way am I letting your pretty face get scraped up on the road." In response to the wink, he kisses her on the neck. It soon turns into a bite, not the kind designed to puncture the skin and lap up blood, just the loving, slightly possessive kind that any normal boyfriend might give his girlfriend.
no subject
"Oy, eat your sandwich, will you?"
Or you can kiss her again, that's fine.
no subject
"I think I'd prefer to eat you," Cooper murmurs against her skin. He brushes his lips over her skin, teeth gently scraping, though he's careful not to leave any marks. Most men would prefer not to solicit a girl who has a hickey for all to see. So he kisses her neck one more time before sitting up straight. He takes another large bite of his sandwich, moving to put on a pair of sunglasses he had brought to help with the glare.

Kyle had asked her that. And when it was good, well, it was good.
"That can be arranged," she tells him- he eats for free, now. Obviously, it would be wrong to charge her boyfriend to drink her blood. "Maybe after the ride." It can be sexual, or he could drink her blood. Either way, the invitation is there.

"Good. A picnic, a motorcycle ride, 'n you by my side. This is going down as one of my top twenty most favorite days." As a vampire, Cooper often feels like he's constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Nice things always have a price being a creature of the night. Right now, though, he's calm and at peace. There's little that could spoil his good mood.
"You make me happy," he says, sighing as he picks up a strand of Nancy's red hair, twirling it through one of his fingers. He feels a little corny saying it, but the vampire has never been one to tamper down his emotions.
no subject
"You make me happy, too." Happier than she can claim she's been in a long time. When she's with Cooper, everything seems better. He loves her like no one else ever has before. Sex is one thing. But romance, actual love, that's something completely different, and she knows it. Because she believes in love and in the goodness of some people even in this shitty, shitty world.
"I love you, you know."
no subject
"I know." He gives her a long kiss on the lips. He doesn't know how long this will last between them. Cooper can only hope it will last a long, long time.
no subject
Nancy kisses him back, but only for a moment before she pulls back. "Hurry up and eat then, you. So we can make this day and night one of the best for both of us." But she'll kiss him one last time. how ever long he wants to spend on his sandwich, she's more than happy to be by his side.
no subject
"Right then. You'll be needin' a helmet." For himself, Cooper would only be wearing a pair of goggles. Vampires were made of sturdy stuff and wiping out wouldn't do too much harm to him. Nancy, on the other hand, he'd risk no harm coming to her.
no subject
"I may have learned a localized protection spell." She taps her head. "So we should be fine." The picnic basket shrinks down till its small enough to fit in her purse. Damn she loves magic. "Unless you're planing on trying to have me killed tonight." He would never.

The V7 Stone is a lovely little bike, gleaming black and perfectly built for a nice ride. It seems that everything has come full circle, from almost running over Nancy at their first meeting to now dating her.
no subject
The bike is gorgeous, if you're into that sort of thing and Nancy can tell how much care of it Cooper takes. Like so many other things. "now I've never actually been on one of these things," she confesses. "Just nearly run over." She squeezes his hand to show she still has no hard feelings over it.
no subject
Cooper swings a leg over the bike and sits down, patting a spot behind him. "It's simple. Just hold onto me tight 'n nothing will happen to you." See, this is why motorcycles are romantic. He can have his sweetheart pressed up nice and close to him for a long ride through the city.
no subject
With a small smile, she steps forward, and straddles the bike. "Alright- I'm trusting you, Cooper." She wrapped her arms around his waist. Her lips are pressed up against his cheek. "Show me your favorite spots."
