The Circle -- May catch-all
I've been here for a million years
Through the joy, through the tears.
Redbright Institute, Beltane : open to all
As the Maiden of witches, Abigail felt it only right that she attend the Beltane bonfire had in what was, really, Daybreak territory. Sylvia could call it what she liked, but Redbright was merely a longer arm for Daybreak.
Still, the party itself was a fun occasion. She had her own gathering to attend as well, so she didn't stay terribly late, but she could be found among the participants, wearing a flower crown she'd been given by a few young witches.
But when I am gone this will go on
And the circle starts again...
Geap Manor, early May : closed
"You must be Alex."
Abigail looks the part of Maiden of Witches, dressed in white and standing in the doorway of Geap Manor. She smiles, though, and offers her hand to the other young woman.
"Please. Come in. I'll put on a kettle."
I've watched the mountains rise from dust
Saw the gold return to rust
Geap Manor, early May : closed
"It's still unactivated, isn't it?"
That was the most important question. She needed to make sure Kyle hadn't killed anyone since he'd be bitten.
She should have listened to those dreams more carefully. God. Thank God Nancy had told her about this. She'd have thought they were just nightmares otherwise. But no… They were… Were they visions? Had she truly seen the future? God help her.
"If it is, we might be able to help."
She spoke as she led the small group further into the house. She wouldn't summon here, but other magic? Certainly.
I had cried when the oceans died
And the circle starts again...
Westminster, mid May : open to all
The ousting of Norrell from the Night Council? Is the best news Abby's had in months. After all, it gives her the hope of maybe getting some of the adamantly anti-Midnight laws out. Maybe even change the definition of dark magic. Get her sisters a bit of relief.
So, she spends her days in Westminster, chatting with aides and having lunches.
For lunch today is a deli shop and a sandwich. Nothing grand, but it was good food, and she could grab it quickly if she needed to.
Through the joy, through the tears.

Westminster
He's wandering the street, contemplating if it would be worth shifting and begging for food. Hiding had meant doing less jobs and thus less money. But at the same time, he'd like to think he was above all that.

She'd done a fair job dodging a few other obstacles, but this man, for some reason, failed to register on her peripheral scan. So, she wound up walking almost right into him.
"Oh-- Oh my God," she said, putting the phone down quickly and looking up. "I'm so sorry."

At least coffee wasn't involved this time. And he would have to put his begging plans on hold for the moment. Not that that was a bad thing.

"Yeah," she says a little awkwardly, following the other girl inside. She gazes around, trying not to stare and not entirely succeeding.
"Why'd you want to talk to me? I'm not the alpha or anything." Kyle hadn't said much, just that he kind of knew Abigail and that Alex should go talk to her.

"I wasn't always Maiden of Witches. Besides, I like to know people. Even if they don't think they're important."
She led the way into the sitting room and motioned to the chairs and divan.
"Please, have a seat."
no subject
"You just want to get to know me?" She finds that a little hard to believe.
Beltane
Speaking of which, no time like the present right?
As she stepped aside to catch a breath between interactions, Dorian took his chance.
"I must say, pansies are unusually becoming on you."
no subject
She offers her hand, even if, really, she needs no introduction.
"Abigail Widdowson."

Kyle had been called a hunter half a dozen times already, despite never really hunting or killing anyone here in London. Apparently it was the default description of a human who knew too much and could take care of themselves, but who didn't belong to another faction.
He scowled at her for the remark and crossed his arms, though it was more a general frustration with being bitten in the first place rather than any particular anger directed at the witch. Kyle followed her into the house, disliking this whole situation, though grateful that James Memon and Alex had helped in obtaining the blood of the werewolf that bit him, which was apparently required.
"How does this work anyway?"
