Kyle smiled up at Alex as she arrived, watching her get seated. He noticed the stiff posture and was in the process of wondering if this was a bad idea when she seemed to relax, trusting that she would say something if she didn't want to be here. Her tension already forgotten, he took a brownie when offered and bit into it without waiting. It was pretty damn good, minus being super hot.

"Slightly underdone is good," he said as he tried to breathe around the piece to make it cool. After swallowing, he said, "Still hot."

He smiled again, not at all put off by the burning of his mouth, and blew on his piece before taking another small bite. Kyle straightened as he chewed, shifting a little with an expression of needing to tell her something. He finally swallowed. "Shit, I forgot the icing. They're still pretty hot.. We can ice the ones we don't eat now for you to take home later. Give them a chance to cool down."
