Alex almost makes a joke like, 'when I try to kill you, you'll know it' or 'if I was trying to kill you, you'd already be dead.' But neither of those would be very funny, and neither are the kind of thing that Alex Winslow, former youth trend consultant for a marketing company, would say. So instead she does her best to hold back her smile - with limited success - and says, "If I killed you, I'd be back to eating Scottish-Mexican take-out. Might as well keep you around a while longer."
