The last thing Alex expects is for him to move in like that. Suddenly, what she hoped would be something simple, something to make her feel normal, seems incredibly complicated. Every reason why she shouldn't be making friends - let alone anything more - comes rushing to the forefront of her mind, and she leans away from him, her stomach twisting into a knot. He's cute, he seems nice, and it's possible he might understand some of what she's been through. That doesn't make this a good idea.
