"An abandoned Tube station is now a vampire nest. The only problem is, a film company have decided to film some scenes on location there. When one of the lead actors is found dead, it gets complicated." The abandoned and unfinished North End station is the deepest station in London, makes it a pretty good hiding place for things that don't want to be found and maybe also can't really deal so well with sunlight. The haunting, industrial horror feel of the place unfortunately makes it a very fitting set for filming the artsy psychological thriller, "Black Infinity." Right up until they showed up to film and found the lead, Zachary Pearce, dead. The internet is having a field day with rumours of his exsanguination, but so far the Met has refused to issue any statement revolving around the nature of his death. Weird, right? |

[Two things Eames hates: Vampires, and debts that aren't paid. Having the two come together like this, well. It's put him in a bit of a mood. And moreover, Zachary wasn't the only person in the cast and crew who owed Eames for their little movie getting made, so he's going to have to deal with this situation.]
[This may be why he's now asking a lot of detailed questions - how long ago did he die, where exactly in the station was he found, how sure are you about this, etc. etc. If he's going to have to go kill a vampire, he'd like to be as prepared as possible beforehand. Even if it means being a bit of a dick to some poor civil servant.]
[Have fun with that, yo.]
17th | North End Station | Open
[Given the publicity and the rumours, he's not foolish enough to think they're the only ones down here. He just kind of hopes anyone else who fancies a trip to an abandoned station will make a delicious, blood-filled distraction and make drawing this dick out to kill them a lot easier.]
no subject
[Still, if he seems tense, it's only a touch more than usual. He doesn't seem to be operating on a hair trigger as they wander into the unknown, even though anything could leap out of the shadows at any moment.]
So, is there anything else I should know about this vampire?
[As if he didn't grill Eames on it already.]
no subject
[Which is almost nothing. But he's yet to meet a vampire that can take a splinter in the heart, and he's relying on that. Between the two of them, it shouldn't be hard to make quick work of the situation. It's just a matter of finding the damn thing.]
no subject
Well, it'll have to do for now.
[He keeps his voice low, listening intently for any sounds, but he keeps asking questions. Their footsteps alone will announce their presence - vampires have keen senses, and they're very strong and very quick. There's no sneaking up on them, better to draw this one out and attack him while he's distracted by the scent of blood.]
How many bites did he have? Your client?
no subject
[He says, though now Arthur's asked he's suddenly unsure. He didn't check the body thoroughly, for obvious reasons, but he feels fairly certain that multiple bites is a thing that would've been noticed.] He was more than likely hypnotised.
[The bite and some bruises on his shoulder were the only things Eames noticed. Makes it seem less like a case of being overpowered and more like being a willing food source.]
no subject
[He doesn't sound particularly thrilled about that, but it's preferable to the alternative.]
no subject
[Complete lack of sympathy aside, Eames is fairly certain he heard something. Something ahead of them, it sounds like? In a tunnel like this, it's hard to place which direction exactly the noise came from. It could even just be a rat. (It is almost certainly not a rat.) He draws back a little to put some space between him and Arthur moving forward, just in case. The extra reaction time putting some distance between them could give him might save a life, who knows?]
no subject
[He hears the sound, and then he hears Eames fall back behind him but he doesn't make a comment. Eames probably smells better anyway, and Arthur's working on the assumption that his years of military service has given him a bit more training and experience on this front.]
Who's there?
[His tone isn't at a bellow, but it's commanding. He's projecting enough for his voice to carry down the tunnel a little ways. He raises his gun a little.]
no subject
[The one rushing for Arthur has made itself a nice, big target as it rushes forward, obviously used to being able to scare most humans into submission. That's a situation Arthur can probably handle easily enough on his own, so Eames keeps moving past this whole... Situation here. Trying to track the one who went into hiding.]
no subject
[He doesn't call out, assuming that there would be some commotion if Eames had been attacked.]
no subject
[He's taking some cautious steps, trying to ferret this damn thing out, and he sighs when he hears Arthur's footsteps come closer.]
Did you bring a torch?
[Either Arthur has one and that'll be useful, or he can potentially start an argument about it and the vampire will come out when they're "distracted." Win-win.]
no subject
It's small, but...
[It's barely thicker than a marker and not even as long, but it's enough to pierce into the darkness a few metres when he turns it on and points it down the tunnel.]
no subject
[It hits, though it's probably a bit much to hope he got it in the knee, but no vampire he's ever seen is gonna get up and run off after having a piece of wood shoved in their leg. And given he has the time, there may be just a little bit of theatrics to the way Eames walks toward their fallen new friend. Ears open - sound carries in these tunnels, and there's every chance there's more nearby - but why not have a little fun with things?]
no subject
[He bites back a 'careful,' watching closely and keeping his ears open for movement up and down the tunnel.]
no subject
[He turns and walks briskly back toward Arthur.]
We need to leave.
no subject
[A little further down, he speaks.]
So, we just pissed off a whole nest of vampires?
no subject
[Eames keeps the pace, he wouldn't dare run unless there was a definite risk to his life, but he wants to get out of there as soon as possible. Rushing up the approximately 8,000 flights of stairs as soon as he gets there.]
no subject
Gonna need more guns.
no subject
More people holding them too.
no subject
[Arthur glances behind him, slowing a little on the stairs.]
The only two that saw our faces are dead.
no subject
no subject
No, I'm saying we don't have to go back. We could just leave it.
no subject
[That vampire ruined a lucrative investment for him, but if he clears out the nest he can make something back on this whole mess. Also: fuck vampires.]
no subject
Well, there's my usual rate for small nests.
[He sounds resigned.]
We could work something else out, but I can't think of anything else right now.
no subject
[He'd much rather just give Arthur money than try to work out some kind of deal. He's far too savvy for that to work out in Eames' favour, and he has much more money than any person needs.]
I'll be wanting to move within the next couple of days. Take them out before they have a chance to make a plan of their own.
no subject
no subject
[Grin.]
no subject
[Which is just part of his job, but he manages to make it sound like a huge inconvenience which Eames is causing.]
[Anyway they're approaching the exit.]
Just call me when you have some details. I'll send you a quote.

[Turns out it was more than some lone, raggedy vampire living in the dank dark all on its lonesome. Unless someone convinces him otherwise, Eames is pretty keen to just wipe out this nest like the vermin they are, but either way something needs to be done.]
[He's made more of an open call this time, anyone who's interested in helping deal with the vampire situation is free to join him and they will be compensated for their time afterward. Or maybe you're just down there for your own reasons and happen to bump into him. You probably won't get paid, but killing the shit out of some vampires is its own reward.]
