September Shenanigans (A Catch-All Post)
[A - Ealing, Early September]
It's really rather ridiculous that he's even here. It's extremely dangerous considering he's still a criminal at large to the wider community, and really, Sirius has no idea if he's even going to find who he's looking for. The last time he saw his godson, he was a baby and Sirius really has no clue what happened to him after he was sent to prison. There's an extremely good chance that he didn't even go to Redbright.
But he had at least had to try, since he had the time, it seemed.
For the first few days of term, a large black dog can be seen hanging around. Mostly he's just dozing under a tree but sometimes he catches the eye of a sympathetic student who leaves some water or leftover breakfast. He leaves three days later.
[B - Wherever, during the recruitment drive/middle of the month]
He hadn't meant to piss off the vampire. Really he hadn't. He'd just happened to be in the same alley, scrounging for food and from his angle it looked like someone was getting mugged. There hadn't really been time for a second thought, so Sirius had just charged in, realizing his mistake only as the would-be victim bolted and he found himself face to face with a rather upset vampire, who was less than pleased at the loss of his prey.
Not wanting to be a replacement, Sirius immediately turned and ran, throwing the garbage can he'd been going through down as a distraction and looking for some place where he could hide and shift. He wasn't prepared to fight a vampire, but if he could just change into a dog he'd at least have some advantage.
[C - Wildcard]

He can't shake that feeling however, and curiosity gets the better of Eames after a while. He waits until everyone's dispersed for the day and comes over with a bowl of water; this close, as he sets the bowl down, he can see the shapeshifter for what it is. Eames smiles though, like one might when addressing a perfectly normal dog, and stays crouched. Clearly not intending to leave at all.
"Good thing it's not so hot out anymore, eh?"

So when he's approached with a bowl of water, Sirius pulls the usual dog act, panting and wagging his tail appreciatively. He slurps the water eagerly, making a little mess but not a big one. Although when Eames asks his question, he receives a look that seems to say "tell me about it."

"What are you hanging around out here for?" He asks like he's not expecting an answer, and he's not. Not verbally anyway. "One of your kids go here?"
