"Scotland Yard continues to search for Ellis Harvey, the seventeen-year-old wanted for questioning regarding the three fires in the Havering borough. The young man was last seen on August 4th, according to his mother. He is likely driving a 2005 blue Audi RS4. He is believed to be armed and dangerous."

"The Night Council seeks to bring Ellis Harvey, a suspected metahuman, to justice for the arson of three buildings in the Havering borough. Citizens are advised to contact Guardians if Ellis is spotted. He is rumoured to have powers connected to fire, which include being able to summon it at will, hot enough to burn blue."

Two reports, ultimately very similar. If Harvey was found by Scotland Yard, there could be no doubt that it would be officers who were also involved with the Night Council. They had their ways, after all.

"There's no way we'll let that happen, Ellis," Maera promises aloud after a quick, worried glance at Ekko. "We're here to take to you to a school where you can nurture your powers and be safe, alright?"

"Listen, I'm a lot like you. There's no way I'm going to let anybody do that to you."

The question that runs through his head is who the hell Skylar is, but that's something to worry about later. Now they need to calm Ellis down.

"I've seen the broadcasts," he shouts back. "I've killed people! I know what happens then! I didn't mean to!"

"Oh, but that really doesn't matter."

The voice comes from another part of the warehouse. Somehow, it's soft, but it still carries. Regal and controlled, someone more than happy to act as judge, jury, and execution.

"You are going to die."

"Wh--who are you?!"

Azula laughs, sharp and loud. "The fae who's going to kill you."

That voice is vaguely familiar to Maera, but she doesn't waste time trying to place it. Instead she grabs for Ekko's wrist, a little panicked. "We have to find him," she splutters out before dashing into the maze of shelves, trying to head in the direction of Ellis' voice. Her footsteps are already echoing loudly enough around the warehouse, so she doesn't hesitate to call out, "whoever you are, don't you dare hurt him!"

He knows exactly who that is. He's heard that voice enough to place it immediately and the chill in his bones is immediate. It's not like he's about to roll over and let her kill someone, "We'll find him. We have to."

A few seconds later, a wall of blue fire appears in front of a door, and a young man scrambles back, away from it, staring. His face is easy to place with all the news coverage. His picture's been everywhere.

Ellis Harvey -- a boy of only sixteen, scrawny and terrified -- looks between the wall of flames as the other two people he can see. He doesn't think either of them are the... thing... trying to kill him.

But he definitely didn't light that fire.

Maera runs for the boy, reaching out to grab him - then stops right before she does. She doesn't want to spook him, after all. With no regard for the fire, she says urgently, "you're okay now. We're going to help you. Just get out of here and leave it to us. Got it?"

If he rewinds he'd know where Ellis was- but they were already heading his direction a few minutes ago. Maybe. Maybe they'll manage to reach Ellis faster if he can turn back time. It's always worth a try.

He switches his grip onto Maera's hand and books it for Ellis. "Let's get you out of here."
