OPEN } Drinks with Tink

1. COFFEE SHOP

It's been a wild couple of weeks for Tinker Bell, but when things start to quiet down, she's happy to slide back into her usual routine. The kitten didn't miss her, but the kitten never does. A little free time in her schedule offers her the opportunity to spend a day out and about, and along with that comes the desire to spend some time people watching. Now she's doing just that, curled in an oversized chair that's angled to allow her a view out the window of the little cafe. Armed with a book and cup of hot chocolate, she'd originally intended to spend some time reading, until a group of young people caught her attention. Now she watches with a smile on her face, finding their playfulness contagious when she was already in a good mood. There's an empty chair beside her, but she's content on her own - although if company did come her way, you wouldn't find her complaining about it.

2. THE JOLLY ROGER

Every once in a while, Tink's curiosity gets the better of her. She doesn't enjoy the pirate decor, but it's amusing in it's own (tacky) way. For someone who's known a real pirate or two, it's a little too over the top to be comfortable. Still, it's a place she wanders into when the mood strikes, if only to see what Killian has been up to. It's not him who she comes in to see, and when she claims a seat at the bar and orders herself a whiskey (neat), she's more interested in hearing what everyone else has to say. Having spent some time in the Other Realm, Tinker Bell feels like she ought to get caught up with what's been going on in this one. She only plans on staying for the one drink, though if they keep playing these old pirate tunes, she might order another.

3. WILDCARD

(Just let me know if you'd prefer a different scenario!)

"Tink it is, then." He motioned with a tilt of his head to the young people she'd been watching earlier.

"You like kids?" By which he mostly meant young humans. Fae had children, too, but not quite so many of them in comparison. And it'd been years since he'd been one himself.

"Yeah, and they're always pokin' around getting themselves in trouble. I should know. Had a bunch of them over at my place recently, and keeping them from breaking things and climbin' on people was a full-time job."

Thank goodness they'd finished with their visit and left. He couldn't imagine what it was like to have to take care of your own kids.

"...Bein' a kid is pretty fun, though." Heiji was pretty young for a fae; he still remembered what it had been like before the world became a much more complicated place.

"Nah, you always gotta watch out or they're throwing pizza everywhere and messing with your cookie machine." Although why Apollo had had a cookie machine in the first place, Heiji had no idea. Maybe it was Stiles's idea. Maybe he just really liked cookies.

"Is it the fun kind, or the havin' to buy a waiter off to keep quiet kind?"
detectiveofthewest: (Heiji: let's do it)

"Yeah. Don't ask me how that happened; I thought lawyers hated fun." And also that Apollo's budget was a bit too tight for such extravagances. "Maybe it was a compromise, like to keep his interns from punching each other?"

He could easily imagine Stiles and Sasuke at each other's threats. Stiles's good behavior, at least, could probably be bought off...
