Cooper makes him so angry and he's not entirely sure why. Maybe it's because he sees himself reflected in the other vampire in ways he's not particularly comfortable with. There aren't many vampires physically under eighteen left in the Nest; most had been of Joscelin's own creation and had been purged along with him. Cooper is one of only a handful of others.
And that makes them too much alike to ever be friends.
