The inside of the hotel had been deceptively quiet at first, but it quickly became evident that the resident countess had been busy. Her minions rushed to stop any and all intruders. Luckily, most were fledglings, though her most loyal and long-lived attendants were a handful in and of themselves.

The hotel interior had once been decorated in grand style, with glass chandeliers, expensive furniture, tasteful wallpaper, and plush carpets. Now, however, all was in varying states of decay. Perhaps some elements of their environment could be used to the assault's advantage?
