Dogs, and their bigger cousins (wolves), are not made for climbing trees the way cats are. Even knowing this, Daryl still gets a little freaked out the pup might make it before he slides right back down. And then he has himself a nice little laugh as he moves a little further out on the branch he was on and dangles one paw down to tempt the pup. He'll pull it back up if Ghoul looks like he might get a good jump in and high enough to snap onto it, but for now... back to teasing.
