Ghoul watches the kid with a curious look. So, the mom thing was pretty unexpected... but there's been no mention of a dad, and he doesn't want to deal with one of those either. Whatever. He's not above bolting at the first sign of trouble. He wouldn't even feel bad either, because he gave fair warning.

The dog is a squirmy little shit, so Ghoul does his part by nudging it closer even if he's not entirely sold on the Dodger's theory. "Ain't he colorblind? I wouldn't think it'd make much of a difference to him."
