Caroline does her best to keep anyone from reaching the doors, but there's just too many of them. Eventually, all she can do is move with the pack and try to get back in front of them. She raises her hands, making sure the bloody stake is visible, in case anyone outside tries to kill her by mistake.

She really hopes JC is a good enough judge of character that they'll make an exception for her.
