Of course not. She was patient, and she had nothing but all the time in the world.

"Ideally, leave those of us loyal to the rebellion alone. And, should the time come, fight by our side against Raymond's allies. In exchange, in addition to returning to the old laws, and allowing you to freely hunt those that break those laws." Islington could be very powerful allies. As, Evie believed, could Hillingdon.

"So," Arthur says, frowning in concentration, "we help you kill Harris, and from here on out you let us hunt your law-breakers without retribution?"

Evie lets the smallest of smiles play on her features. "Precisely."

His expression remains steady as he watches Evie from his chair for a moment, though he's considering whether or not he has any more questions to ask rather than mulling over the quality of the deal.

"I'll have to talk it over with our clan leader. He's not here right now, but he should be around in the next few days so I can discuss it with him."

"Of course. I wasn't expecting an answer right away." Evie slowly reaches into her jacket pocket. Her movements are cautious, deliberate, so he doesn't think she's about to pull out a weapon. Instead, she pulls out a small business card. It's white, a subtle symbol of the Assassins in as lightly more gray on the back. On the front is her name, and a few points of contact.

"My card." She hands it to him.

Arthur doesn't look nervous. He's quick with the stake on the inside of his own jacket, but he does watch her hand with mild curiousity as she pulls out her card. He stands to take it and then gives her a polite nod.

"We'll be in touch, Ms. Frye."
