Arthur's about to say something to the effect of 'I didn't know you wanted a dog' but he realizes there's probably a lot of things about Eames he doesn't know and has no business knowing. Instead, he just says "huh," and sits down on the couch next to Eames. There's enough space between them that he doesn't think Boxer should have any problem with it; the dog looks harmless enough in its demeanour, but Arthur knows animals can be unpredictable sometimes, and this one might not like anyone getting too close to his owner.
