Cooper comes walking through the door. This is one of those times where the weariness from his eyes makes him look far older than his permanent seventeen year old state. His clothes are torn, stained with dirt and a little bit of blood. But when he sees Nancy, he still manages to give her a tired smile.

"Sweet-pea. You didn't have t'stay up for me," he says. He's very glad she did so. This was just what he needed to celebrate the claim being successful.
