Thomas relaxed a little with that explanation. To be honest, he hadn't been sure if Cooper was worried about Thomas, or Thomas dragging the nest's name through the mud more than it already had been by their current leader. Hearing that he was trying to help...well, it felt kind of nice, actually. And he had kept Thomas from doing something rash that could have ended in him creating another vampire.

"I guess I could use what help I can get," he admitted.
