Nancy nearly lets out a sigh of relief. He's being good about this, wonderful. There's more wine with her name on it, after all.

She knows that tone, though. Or, at least, the way he considers it strange. She just hasn't had a reason to mention him, or, honestly, most of her male friends. Which really meant they didn't talk about her life very much, which was fine with her. She didn't need him worrying about every little thing.
