"I can think of worse things." She says it light, a little arch, as though she's joking. Her tone hides some seriousness, though. It's becoming clear to her that she doesn't have the space to stay away from vampires entirely. It's foolish to think she can avoid it, and with what's happened lately, she doesn't entirely want to.

And maybe she wants to be able to talk to others like herself. There's something to that, though she justifies it to herself as needing friends in the nest if she's going to have an influence at all on the direction the nest takes.
