"We've run into each other before," Natasha says slowly, measured. Her attention shifts back to Arthur. Eames' amusement might sting, but ultimately her ego will survive. On the other hand, this strikes her as a point against the whole just an accountant theory. Knowing Lancelot could have been nothing, but both one of the Guardians and one of the fae independently se me like less of a coincidence. What was more, she was confident he wasn't fae himself. A werewolf or a shifter would have made what she was by scent. That left relatively few options.

Not that she holds it against him. She wasn't advertising either.

"Sorry I ran out like that," she says instead of asking the next obvious question. "But it's better this way."
