Thomas took a drink of his beer. "I know. I prefer to have control. And I admit, I prefer a more relaxed, friendly environment when I go out to eat. It's a little harder to do that if everyone's used to messes being left behind."

And so as far as he was concerned, Cesare wasn't ruining Thomas's fun at all. If anyone was, it was this new leader.

Thomas shook Cesare's offered hand. "Thomas Raith. And it's been...doing things. I haven't been here that long, either, but considering the sudden and abrupt change of leadership, I'd say not well."

Well, that, and the fact that the new leader seemed to be completely insane, as far as he could tell. If it wasn't for that part, he wouldn't have even cared.
