"About twelve years ago, a close friend of mine was murdered. I had been out at the time with some other friends. When news of the murder reached us, I couldn't believe it so I went to go and check. I guess whoever framed me knew I would, and there was enough evidence planted to convict. me. Not that I was in any state to defend myself."

He had kind of lost it at the end, when he realized the situation and that there was nothing he could do.
