Alex staggers when he collides with her but stays on her feet. She starts firing the gun again at nothing, trying to empty it so that he won't be able to shoot her if he manages to get control of it.

She cries out in pain when his teeth pierce her wrist, and she loses her grip on the gun but immediately moves to elbow him in the face.
