Smiling, Alex returns the kiss, bringing one hand up to the side of his face. After spending the past few very stressful days apart, something about that simple physical contact feels good. It feels grounding, somehow.

She raises her eyebrows in response to the smile, and gazes around the apartment, impressed. It's hard to tell what the place will be like once it's furnished, but she already loves it.
