Cooper breathes a sigh of relief that Jean-Claude finds him amusing instead of being insulted. He's already got enough in the nest annoyed or pissed off at him for one reason or another. He doesn't need to be adding to that list.

Sometimes, the downs seem to outnumber the ups. But he can't complain too much. Life has been good to him these past five years. Well, good save for the brief period he was cursed into the form of a binturong. He doesn't like to talk about that.
