"Politics are a funny thing," Natasha says with a rueful smile. "Paying too much attention and not paying enough can both be a mistake."

It's a hedge, and it's intentional. As much because not everyone here knows about the supernatural as because she doesn't want to admit to giving too much away to Faolan specifically.
