All night, Annie's stomach had been churning. They were going about this wrong, she had to believe. There had to be some other way to bring the girl back. This wasn't searching for a needle in a haystack- this was a needle in an entire world.

So unable to sleep, she'd done research, pouring over Hillingdon's books all night until she found something about the sort of fae they'd met in the garden. It didn't help much, but it gave them an idea of where to start looking.
