Which sounds so trite coming out of his mouth but it's true. James had always wondered what being an Alpha meant and apparently it meant sticking your neck out for those who couldn't afford to.

It's a joke more than anything but there's a grain of truth to it. James doesn't know how he feels about being known as the guy who had a weak spot.
