"No! No, that's very kind of you," she says, unable to help herself from eyeing the cane. Elizabeth is sharp, of course, she knows that having a cane and dark glasses are general indicators of blindness, though she supposes she hadn't expected a blind man to visit somewhere so noisy and full of chairs and other tripping-obstacles. No doubt it's rude to think that, but given she knows approximately zero blind people she reasons it might be a fair hypothesis.
"I'm just playing designated, uh, walker tonight, I suppose. So I'm trying to stay alert. But I guess one couldn't hurt, right...?"
