God why was Sasuke such a weirdly intense weirdo about this. Heiji followed along as Sasuke lured the vampire away, but he didn't wait to see if the improvised taser would work.

A brilliant arc of electricity whiplashed out from where Heiji was standing and struck the vampire. There was the sound of sizzling, the smell of burnt flesh... and then the vampire wobbled into Sasuke, most of the fight taken out of him.
