Alex notices Kyle moving in front of her, and she appreciates the gesture, even if she can take care of herself. And even if the threat weights about thirty pounds and mostly just wants to drool on her. She finally gets free of the leash, the dog's owner still apologizing, when she hears Kyle call her pretty.
