Drunk Kenzi doesn't have the same logic as tipsy Kenzi and instead of agreeing to her face and leaving, she starts to argue even more. She can't tell that she sounds like she's about to start crying. It's the booze more than anything but the frustration certainly isn't helping.

"What the hell am I supposed to do if I can't look out for you!"

Annnd now she can't stop.

"You're always trying to take care of me, and I want to do that for you too but I can't!"

You won't let me, she thinks.

"I can do this. Can't you just trust me?!"
