"No." He isn't sure whether that's comforting or not. On the one hand, it means the patients aren't (short term) being conned. But it means something else is going on. "I saw the patients going in and coming out. The ones there for treatment, not consultation. The effects... They're there."

He's going to be stalking those patients. Or, at leas keeping tabs on them through their addresses and such. Because he wants to see if it lasts or if it's just some kind of illusion or temporary fix.
