"What's it to you?" Cooper asked, his suspicions not quelled. His first guess for someone looking for missing vampires would be a hunter looking to find more, but he claimed a nest had sent him. That was a bold lie to make and Cooper could think of half a dozen more plausible ones off the top of his head. Perhaps he was on the level.
