James jaw tightens visibly at the jab. It's a hindrance, having such a temper, and he knows it. But that doesn't mean James won't try to work around it as best he can. Especially when there was someone else watching. Madame St Just's presence was all that kept him in check.
"Excuse me," He demurred to Joscelin before turning back to pay attention to the problem at hand.
He explained to her at length that unless someone claim it, the mansion would go to public auction for a fraction of it's price - thanks to her husband's family going bankrupt. Unfortunate proceedings, but these things did happen.
It helped that his firm was facilitating the auction - but she didn't need to know that.
