Norrell frowns over at Childermass, thinking. Of course, in this he is forced to admit Childermass is right. If he tells him to fetch the book he is doing the very thing the fae want him to do. Yet at the same time he is uneasy at the thought that there may be a book he does not have, one containing some degree of secrets. He wrings his hands, eyes averting for a moment before he collects himself.
