Childermass puts the car into park so that he can speak to her properly, leaning on the window slightly as he does, his other arm casually across the steering wheel. "As a matter of fact," he drawls, his Yorkshire accent thick enough to cut with a knife, "you can. I was hoping that you might be free tonight?" He does make it a question, at least, a point in his favor. Although if she's not free he'll just park the car somewhere close and have to do all the work himself. It's why he's hoping that she'll just get in the car herself this way.

"My master is a very particular sort of man," he says. "Just so happens that he's taken a fancy to you, miss. He's sent me to fetch you back with me, if you're agreeable to the idea." He tips his head forward towards he slightly. "I can assure you, he pays a pretty penny indeed, especially if he'll be wanting you back again."
