He tilts his head at that, as if only partially agreeing -- ready to protest somewhat.

"Actually," he says, "supernatural wrongs are part of my jurisdiction too. Which means I can help, if you wanted me to. Although I'd understand if you didn't."

Shrugging a little he toys with his coffee, smile a touch rueful.

"I try not to flash my badge more than necessary, since... Well, people get nervous. Although personally I don't think I'm that frightening..."
