"Would someone need your name for such a thing?"

He tilts his head questioningly, hesitates a moment -- fingers playing around his cup of coffee.

"Forgive me if the question is foolish, I have no personal experience in this, but... might there not be another way to tie such a curse to you? A personal item, or some-such?"

Although he supposes she would notice if something had gone missing, but -- perhaps something smaller? A cup she had touched, a lock of hair?
