He sat back, seemingly thinking over Derek's question. He wasn't completely sure why he'd been sent here, honestly. "I've lived in one place most of my life," he said finally. "A lot of things have changed, even during my lifetime. I think they're going to keep changing... but I ain't so sure everyone understands that. It's easier to stick in one place and ignore what's goin' on everywhere else. But you can't hide away and still consider yourself a part of the world."
