Satisfied, he nodded. Derek had not made plans yet, had not allowed himself to set anything up, still too tentative and hesitant in his new position, still too engrossed in a hunt that was proving ever fruitless. But he wasn't about to admit as much; besides, doing so seemed unnecessary. While he hadn't made his mind up yet, he had beginnings, starts of something more.
